Description
Tte AP Thermostable Nuclease comes from the hot spring tengcongensis. This enzyme recognizes the AP site (apurinic/apyrimidinic site). Its endonuclease activity cuts off the damaged DNA damage site, and then removes the damaged DNA site with its exonuclease (3' - 5') activity to complete DNA damage repair. Tte AP Thermostable Nuclease is extremely heat-resistant, and the optimal reaction temperature is 70°C.
Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to degrade 5fmol depurinization DNA to <50bp within 30 minutes in a 20 μl reaction system at 70°C.

Storage
The minimum shelf life is 3 years at -20°C.
Note
1 × Tte AP Buffer: 20 mM Tris, 10 mM MgCl2, 1 mM DTT (pH 7.9 @ 25°C).
The enzyme is compatible with PCR reaction systems.
The optimal reaction temperature of the enzyme is 70°C, and the enzyme is inactivated at 90°C for 5min.
