Cat. No.: TDG2P-250 (for 250 μg)
Description
TtDnaG2 protein is derived from Thermoanaerobacter tengcongensis and has a DNA-dependent RNA polymerase activity initiator (Primase). In DNA replication, it can synthesize RNA primers, and then guide the synthesis of leading strand DNA. Compared with the wild-type TtDnaG, the modified TtDnaG2 protein removes its sequence-specific recognition characteristics, making the protein have no preference for templates in the process of RNA Primer synthesis. The protein is active at 37~85°C, and the optimal reaction temperature is 70°C. It is reported that it has the ability to synthesize RNA primers of more than 100 nt.
