Description
TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent is the latest generation of a highly efficient cell transfection reagent based on nanomaterials. It achieves, and even surpasses, the transfection efficiency of internationally recognized mainstream transfection reagents. The transfection process requires no incubation time, making cell transfection incredibly simple. It is suitable for transfecting plasmids, siRNA, or other forms of nucleic acids including DNA, RNA, oligonucleotides, nucleic acid-protein complexes, or negatively charged proteins into eukaryotic cells. It can also be used for nucleic acid transfection in live animals and gene therapy applications.
The nanotechnology used in TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent ensures reliability and stability in both immediate and stable transfection.
Using TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent is particularly convenient. It can be directly mixed with serum-free culture medium and nucleic acids without any need for incubation. Plasmid transfection can be performed without any incubation time. The reagent can be added directly to the cell culture vessel, simplifying the cell transfection process.
TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent exhibits very high transfection efficiency, excellent reproducibility, ease of use, and minimal observed cytotoxicity for common mammalian cells. It is suitable for both adherent and suspension cells and is particularly effective for challenging adherent cell transfections. Due to its minimal cytotoxicity, there is no need to change the cell culture medium after transfection. Cells can be collected directly for protein expression analysis 24-48 hours after transfection.
TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent has been tested on various cell lines including mouse embryonic fibroblasts NIH3T3, human embryonic kidney cells HEK293/HEK293T, cervical cancer cells Hela, colon cancer cells HCT116, liver cells HepG2, and lung cancer cells A549.
TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent is suitable not only for transfecting single components such as plasmids and siRNA but also for co-transfections of multiple plasmids or combinations of plasmids and siRNA.
After transfection with TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent, elevated protein expression levels are typically achieved within 24-48 hours, often significantly higher 48 hours after transfection compared to 24 hours. For siRNA transfection, ideal downregulation of the target gene is usually observed 3-5 days post-transfection.
During cell transfection with TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent, the presence of serum and antibiotics in the culture medium does not affect the transfection efficiency. It can be performed in the presence of serum and antibiotics.
The transfection efficiency of TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent can be quickly assessed using plasmids expressing fluorescent proteins such as EGFP.
Approximately 40 10-cm culture dishes, 125 6-cm culture dishes, 250 wells of a 6-well plate, 625 wells of a 12-well plate, 1250 wells of a 24-well plate, 2500 wells of a 48-well plate, and 6250 wells of a 96-well plate can be transfected per milliliter of this transfection reagent.
Storage
Store at 4°C. For long-term storage, it can be stored at -20°C.
Precaution
- Increasing the dosage of TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent can lead to a significant decrease in transfection efficiency. Please prioritize using the recommended transfection reagent dosage for transfections. Adjust the dosage only if necessary.
- Using high-purity DNA or RNA helps achieve higher transfection efficiency.
- Cells must be in a good growth state before transfection.
- Based on testing, even changing the cell culture medium 4-6 hours after transfection using this product does not significantly affect transfection efficiency. If necessary, it is completely acceptable to change the cell culture medium 4-6 hours after transfection.
- Prepare serum-free medium, Opti-MEM® medium, or regular DMEM medium without antibiotics.
- Do not vortex or centrifuge the TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent; gently shake to mix.
- After using TransEZ8000™ Transfection Reagent, promptly close the cap to prevent prolonged exposure to air, which could affect transfection efficiency.
- This product is intended for scientific research by professionals only and must not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment, food or drug purposes, and should not be stored in regular households.
- For your safety and health, please wear lab attire and disposable gloves when handling this product.
