Description
This reagent is used to measure the concentration of thrombin-antithrombin III complex (TAT) in human plasma. Elevated levels of TAT in plasma indicate activation of the coagulation system and generation of thrombin. Therefore, it is observed in hypercoagulable states and thrombotic diseases, as well as for differentiation between primary and secondary fibrinolysis and monitoring indicators during anticoagulant therapy. TAT serves as a marker for thrombin generation in the blood.
Principal
TAT in the sample binds to the TAT antibody in reagent R1, followed by binding to the TAT antibody in reagent R2, forming an antibody-antigen-antibody complex. The complex generates a luminescent signal through the aminoluciferin label on the TAT antibody in reagent R2. The intensity of the luminescent signal is directly proportional to the concentration of TAT in the sample within a certain range. By measuring the intensity value and referring to the calibration curve, the TAT content in plasma can be calculated.
Storage
Store in a tightly closed, light-protected container at 2-8°C. Shelf life is 12 months. Once opened, it remains stable for 30 days.
