Description
TelN Protelomerase is derived from bacteriophage N15, which carries the TelN gene. This enzyme cleaves double-stranded DNA at telomerase sites, resulting in covalently closed ends at the cleavage points.

Reaction System
- Prepare the reaction system on ice:
Component dsDNA (<300 fmol of TelN sites) | Volume X μL |
ThermoPol Reaction Buffer (10×) | 2 μL |
TelN Protelomerase | 1 μL |
DEPC water | Up to 20 μL |
Gently mix the system by inverting several times, then briefly centrifuge for 5 seconds.
Incubate at 30°C for 30 minutes, followed by 5 minutes at 75°C.
Storage Conditions
Store at -20°C.
