Description

T7 gp4 Protein is derived from T7 phage and is a core protein of its replication system. It not only has the function of initiating enzymes but also has the activity of helicase. It is mainly used in whole genome amplification (WGA) and has great advantages in the amplification of circular whole genomes. It is commonly used in virus detection. The phage T7 gene 4 encodes a full-length product, T7 gp4A protein, with a molecular weight of 63kD, and participates in the DNA replication of bacteriophages. It is reported that the protein has dTTP hydrolysis activity, so it has 5'- 3' helicase activity. This product is a soluble product obtained by recombinant expression and purification.
