Description
Silica Hydroxyl Magnetic Beads are superparamagnetic nanoparticles characterized by uniform particle size and large specific surface area and are suitable for adsorbing trace nucleic acids. The Silica Hydroxyl Magnetic Bead is a magnetic nanoparticle modified by a silicon hydroxy group, and its surface is covered with a layer of silicon dioxide structure layer. Through the hydroxyl group of silicon dioxide, various nucleic acids can be adsorbed with different electrification under different pH value adjustments, so as to achieve the purpose of nucleic acid purification. This magnetic bead is suitable for automatic operation. It can cooperate with the magnetic bead nucleic acid purification instrument to achieve the purpose of automatic separation of nucleic acid, reduce the labor intensity, and can be well used for large-scale nucleic acid purification.
Specification
10ml/bottle (500mg)
100ml/bottle (5000mg)
Technical Data
Applications
Extraction of genomic DNA and RNA from whole blood, tissue plants, cells, and other samples.
PCR product purification.
Extraction of plasmid DNA.
Forensic sample extraction.
Extraction of free DNA/RNA.
Virus genome extraction.
Storage
The minimum shelf life is 3 years at room temperature (15-25°C).
Protocol
- Lysis the sample with the developed formula to obtain the supernatant (remove impurities).
- Add appropriate magnetic beads and incubate them at room temperature for 3-5 min (the amount of magnetic beads can be adjusted to obtain the maximum amount of nucleic acid adsorption in combination with your own experiment). Each mg of magnetic beads will bind 10 μg nucleic acid. 2-3 mg magnetic beads are recommended for each use.
- Separate the magnetic bead with nucleic acid binding from the non binding substance.
- Add washing buffer to the magnetic bead to wash away impurities, and separate the magnetic bead with nucleic acid from impurities.
- Add an elution buffer to the magnetic bead to elute the nucleic acid product, and separating the magnetic bead from the product.
For specific samples (whole blood/tissue/cell/virus/bacteria and other genomic DNA/RNA), nucleic acid extraction steps and buffer system need to be optimized.
Note
- Freezing, drying, centrifuging and other operations will cause magnetic beads to agglomerate, which is not easy to re suspend and disperse.
- Before using this product, be sure to fully vortex to keep the magnetic beads in a uniform suspension state.
- Please read the instructions carefully for your safety before use.
