IgG is an important immune factor, and clinical studies have shown that IgG in milk plays a potential and positive immunological role in prevention and treatment. In the development of colostrum products, determining the IgG content can indicate the quality of the product.

Protein G Immunoaffinity Column utilizes the specific adsorption of Protein G to immunoglobulins, allowing for the purification and separation of immunoglobulins from the sample, thereby enabling quantitative detection of immunoglobulins through liquid chromatography methods.

Principle

Based on the principles of high-efficiency affinity chromatography, immunoglobulin IgG is bound to ligands under phosphate buffer conditions, and then eluted under conditions of pH 2.5 with HCl-glycine buffer.

Precautions

• Before use, the affinity column should be brought back to room temperature (18-25°C).
• Store the affinity column at 2-8°C, do not freeze.
• Please use the affinity column before the expiration date.
• Sample volume: Adjust the sample volume accordingly by increasing or decreasing it as needed, and make sure to adjust the volume of the extraction solution accordingly.
• Column capacity: 5mg. If the content of lactoferrin to be tested in the sample divided by the dilution factor exceeds the column capacity, it is necessary to appropriately reduce the volume of the sample solution.
• Do not dry the liquid inside the affinity column during the purification process to avoid gas entering the filler of the affinity column.
• Trifluoroacetic acid has strong volatility and corrosiveness. Attention should be paid to protection during use.
