Description

Milk Exosome, isolated and purified from fresh milk, ranges in diameter from approximately 30 nm to 200 nm. They contain phospholipid bilayer membrane structures akin to cell membranes, enclosing specific proteins, lipids, miRNA, DNA fragments, and cell factors. This enables rapid traversal of cellular barriers, accurate identification, and localization of cell damage, among other functions.

Milk exosomes are a unique and evolutionarily conserved category of microbubbles. They maintain the integrity of their nucleic acids and proteins while passing through the stomach and gastrointestinal tract, where they can exert local effects or be transported into the circulatory system. Additionally, milk exosomes demonstrate superior stability compared to other naturally occurring exosomes, even under acidic and other harsh conditions.
