High-Fidelity PCR Block is a reaction premix containing high-fidelity PCR amplification enzymes. It uses AlNoVar™ HiFi DNA polymerase, a recombinant, heat-stable DNA polymerase with 3′ → 5′ exonuclease proofreading activity, which provides superior fidelity compared to Taq DNA polymerase. For library preparation when the starting DNA amount is less than 100 ng, PCR enrichment can be performed. Libraries enriched using the High-Fidelity PCR Block exhibit high fidelity with no significant base preference.
