Description

Fluorescein-12-dUTP can replace dTTP as a substrate for various DNA synthesis enzymes, modifying enzymes, and polymerases in most cases, enabling green fluorescence labeling of DNA. For example, Fluorescein-labeled DNA green fluorescence probes can be generated through PCR and other methods. Following gel electrophoresis, the fluorescence of Fluorescein-labeled DNA is clearly visible upon excitation, without the need for further staining. Fluorescently labeled probes generated by this method are suitable for various applications such as FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization), microarray analysis, imprinting detection, and multicolor fluorescence analysis. The excitation/emission wavelengths are 495/521nm, respectively.
