Description

DNA Polymerase I (E. coli) is a DNA-dependent DNA polymerase with both 3'-5' and 5'-3' exonuclease activities. The enzyme's 5'-3' exonuclease activity can remove nucleotides at the 5' end of the extending strand, enabling the shift of the cut site.
