Description
DNA-Free Thermostable Inorganic Pyrophosphatase (PPase) catalyzes the hydrolysis of inorganic pyrophosphate to orthophosphate:
P2O74−+H2O→2HPO42−
It is primarily used to degrade the by-product pyrophosphate in nucleic acid synthesis reaction systems, thereby relieving the inhibition of nucleic acid synthesis reactions and increasing the yield. This enzyme is thermostable and exhibits high activity at 50-70°C, making it particularly suitable for LAMP isothermal amplification catalyzed by Bst DNA polymerase.
Our DNA-Free Thermostable Inorganic Pyrophosphatase, on the other hand, is devoid of genomic and plasmid DNA from the production strain. This makes DNA-Free Thermostable Inorganic Pyrophosphatase particularly suitable for amplifying, sequencing, and cloning 16S and 23S rDNA genes.
Activity Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to catalyze the production of 1 μmol of phosphate from inorganic pyrophosphate per minute under standard reaction conditions at 65°C for 10 minutes.
Activity Assay Conditions
1× Reaction System: 50 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM MgCl₂, and 0.32 mM PPi, pH 8.5.
Features
- This enzyme is thermostable and particularly suitable for LAMP, CPA isothermal amplification, and HDA isothermal amplification catalyzed by Bst DNA polymerase.
