Description
DNA-Free Thermostable Alkaline Phosphatase catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate monoester bonds but does not catalyze the hydrolysis of phosphate diester or phosphate triester bonds. This enzyme is a high-temperature enzyme, exhibiting high activity at 60-100℃ and cannot be inactivated by heat. The specific activity of this enzyme is approximately 20 U/mg.

Unit Definition
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to hydrolyze 1 μmol of p-nitrophenyl phosphate to p-nitrophenol within 1 minute at 75℃ in 1× Alkaline Phosphatase reaction buffer.
