Description
DNA-Free One-Step High Temperature RT-PCR 2× SuperMix is a specialized premix for RT-PCR reactions. It can be used for the amplification and qualitative analysis of RNA molecules, including total RNA, mRNA, ribosomal RNA, tRNA, and more. This product contains MMLV reverse transcriptase 2.0, RNase Inhibitor, hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and an optimized reaction buffer at a 2× concentration. One of the core components, MMLV RTase 2.0, has been genetically engineered to significantly improve its thermal stability, making it resistant to 55-60℃. This allows the reverse transcription reaction to be performed at 50-55℃, eliminating the inhibitory effects of RNA secondary structures on reverse transcription. After converting the RNA strand into a cDNA strand with MMLV2.0, the hot-start Taq DNA polymerase uses the cDNA strand as a template to synthesize double-stranded DNA. The buffer is specifically optimized for RT-PCR, making it highly suitable for one-step RT-PCR reactions. For RT-PCR, simply add the RNA template, primers, and water to adjust the 2× SuperMix solution to a 1× concentration for the reaction.
