Description
Anti-Myc Magnetic Beads, also known as Anti-Myc Immunomagnetic Beads or Myc Antibody Magnetic Beads, are covalently coupled with high-quality Myc mouse monoclonal antibodies and nano-sized amino magnetic beads. They can specifically bind to proteins containing the Myc tag in lysates, serum, ascites, and other samples derived from animals, plants, or microorganisms. These beads are used for immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), or purification of fusion proteins or protein complexes carrying the Myc tag.
Myc tag, Flag tag, HA tag, His tag, GST tag, and other commonly used tags are frequently employed in expression vectors. Fusion expression with these tags allows convenient detection of the target protein and its interacting partners and facilitates the purification of the target protein.
The Myc tag is a peptide consisting of ten amino acid residues (EQKLISEEDL). By genetically fusing the Myc tag nucleotide sequence to the 5' or 3' end of the target gene, the desired protein can be expressed with the Myc tag. The Myc tag offers several advantages: it usually does not interact with the target protein, and in most cases, it does not affect the function of the target protein. As a tag protein, the Myc tag enables subsequent detection, localization, and purification of the target gene using Myc antibodies (AM926), Anti-Myc Magnetic Beads, or other related techniques such as immunoprecipitation or co-immunoprecipitation. Based on these advantages, the Myc tag has been widely applied in various aspects of protein expression, purification, identification, protein-protein interactions, and functional studies.
Anti-Myc Magnetic Beads, also known as Anti-EQKLISEEDL Magnetic Beads, can specifically bind to fusion proteins carrying the Myc tag. They can be conveniently applied in immunoprecipitation, purification, and other experiments involving fusion proteins or protein complexes with the Myc tag, using magnetic separation devices such as magnetic racks.
