Description

18S rRNA Cy3 Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization (FISH) Probe is a universal red fluorescence probe that can be used in conjunction with the Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization Kit for RNA to perform fluorescence in situ hybridization targeting 18S rRNA in samples derived from Human, mouse, rat, Prionailurus viverrinus, Tachysurus fulvidraco, Mugil cephalus, and Neosciurus carolinensis (gray squirrel), including cells, fixed tissues, paraffin-embedded or frozen sections.

This product can be used as a positive control when performing fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) for target RNA detection.

The 18S rRNA Cy3 FISH Probe is a 21nt single-stranded DNA sequence with a Cy3 fluorescent dye labeled at the 5' end. It specifically recognizes 18S rRNA and allows for hybridization. The maximum excitation wavelength is 550nm, and the maximum emission wavelength is 570nm.

The recommended pre-hybridization and hybridization temperature for this product is 45°C. The concentration of the 18S rRNA Cy3 FISH Probe is 1mg/ml. When conducting fluorescence in situ hybridization, it is recommended to use a working concentration of 0.5-1µg/ml for the 18S rRNA Cy3 FISH Probe.

Storage

Store at -20°C, protected from light. The product is effective for one year.
