They engage in the exploration, production, and sales of novel natural product molecules through sustainable microbial "biofabrication" methods. The team at Hesheng Technology focuses on the biofabrication of natural products and has built a robust technical support system, including self-developed efficient microbial chassis in four categories, targeted synthetic metabolism systems, and an automated work platform. With these technologies, Hesheng Technology can manufacture high-quality, efficient, and environmentally friendly natural products rapidly and at a low cost. They have already developed multiple applications for natural products, and several products have entered industrial-scale fermentation production, achieving international leadership.
The founding team of Hesheng Technology has over a decade of experience in the field of biofabrication of natural products. Team members have participated in various synthetic biology projects, including the "Synthetic Biology" special project of the national key research and development program. Their achievements have received multiple awards and recognition, including being selected as one of the top ten scientific and technological events in Hubei Province in 2018 and winning the first prize in scientific and technological progress in Hubei Province in 2019. Professor Liu Tiangang, the founder, has received support from multiple national talent programs and has published numerous papers as a corresponding author in journals such as Nature.
